ABOUT ME
From a young age I enjoyed working with wood and doing home repairs. My grandfather was a carpenter, and a furniture builder. Plus he speculated in real estate and built and sold houses. My father is an engineer, and inventor with a penchant for keeping everything in the house working long after is should have “given up the ghost”. With this background it’s no wonder I have a passion for woodworking, carpentry, and home repair.
Nothing in the world is like wood - I love finding unexpected grain pattern, colors and textures. From one piece to another the reaction of the wood to sawing, planning, turning, and finishing is different every single time. When the beauty of the wood is revealed in concert with amazing designs, it’s magic.
At long last I am retired from the 9 to 5 and doing what I enjoy: making beautiful wooden projects and doing home repairs. I hope you will enjoy looking at my work and if you decide to buy something, promise me you’ll give it a good home and appreciate the tree that started it all.
